A slight pinching sensation with pressure may be felt when being injected with Botox. A topical numbing agent can be applied prior to injections, to ease any discomfort; However, most find Botox/Dysport injections extremely tolerable without any numbing agents.

Mild swelling, red bumps or bruising may appear after injections; However, these tend to dissipate within 30 minutes after treatment. Makeup can be gently applied after treatment.
